Answer: Diffusion is the movement of particles from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration. When food is cooked, the particles in the air near the food have a higher concentration of aroma molecules, while the particles further away have a lower concentration. The aroma molecules move from the higher concentration area to the lower concentration area, resulting in the spread of the smell throughout the room. - How do our sense organs work? Explain with an example.
Answer: Our sense organs work by detecting stimuli in the environment and converting them into electrical signals that can be processed by the brain. For example, the eye detects light and converts it into electrical signals that are transmitted to the brain, allowing us to see. Answer: A volcano forms when magma from beneath the Earth’s surface rises and collects in a magma chamber. When the pressure from the magma builds up, it causes an eruption, and the magma is ejected onto the Earth’s surface. As the magma cools and solidifies, it forms a cone-shaped mountain, with a central vent or crater through which the magma and gases are ejected. - What is the process of respiration? Explain.
Answer: Respiration is the process by which living organisms release energy from the food they eat. The process involves inhaling oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide.
