In class 2, children be studying/ revising some of the content already dealt with in class 1. For example, use of nouns (SANGYA), verbs (KRIYA) and use of articles, prepositions etc. the use of small sentences and phrases will be the next topic. They will also learn the meaning and use of adjectives (VISHESHAN). Some other topics like gender difference (LING BHED), opposite words and composition may appear seem – however, the level of difficulty slightly increases compare to class 1.

Importance of Hindi Grammar (Vyakaran) for Grade 2 Students.

Vyakaran – Grammar means the rules of any language. Knowing and understanding the rules helps in correct written and vocal communication in Hindi Language. Hindi language being the native mother tongue – hence all the more necessity to know and learn the grammar of Hindi language.

The use of gender or singular-plural may appear very simple. However, even elders find it very difficult to use the correct plural sometime. Teachers should also be sympathetic with the children that mastery over the use of gender and plural could take few years. Here, in class 2 we just make them aware of the gender and plural. They may go wrong – but that is natural in the process learning.
